SFE was born of the merger of two of South Florida’s most respected and successful youth soccer programs, Coconut Creek Prowlers and East Broward United. These clubs joined forces to create what has rapidly become a dominant Club for all age groups----locally and nationally.  In its first year, SFE’s formula proved successful.  Our teams gained national recognition as finalists and champions at national elite tournments, and were dominant in local league play.

 

SFE did not rest on its laurels.  Consistent with its plan to constantly seek out opportunities to strengthen the Club, SFE significantly expanded the depth and quality of its training by bringing into its fold Dr. Josef Schulz and Schulz Academy.  It is indisputable that Dr. Schulz is one of the foremost youth soccer trainers in the region, having produced professional talent such as Josimere Altidor.  Schulz Academy is also synonymous with soccer excellence.  By joining forces with Schulz Academy, SFE has created a platform from which its members can grow from developmental soccer players to prominenence on the Academy League stage, opening many opportunites for college, professional and semi-professional careers.  Consistent therewith, SFE and SChulz Academy have created the Development Academy, which provides our players with the opportunity to prepare for Academy League play.

 

This is an exciting time for our children and parents.  SFE’s/Schulz Academy’s potential is endless, and we look forward to building a Club that focuses on the development of our children--from the very young to those that are college or professional bound.  SFE/Schulz Academy is built on the premise that no one team and no one player make a Club.  SFE/Schulz Academy is comprised of all its member--players and parents--each of whom will be treated equally, and each of whom will be encouraged to play a meaningful role in the further development and success of the Club.
